Request InfoBreault Research Organization Inc.Breault Research Organization (BRO) has released its ReflectorCAD software for designing reflector optics. The program uses tailored reflector patches to reduce the design time. Users create a base reflector shape and add a source from an ASAP ray file, Radiant Imaging or the BRO bulb library. Reflector segments can be created using the toolbar button. When the user directs the light output, segments are automatically oriented to achieve the angular spread and the output pattern is displayed. Once finished, the reflector can be exported for trimming in a CAD program.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSVision Spectra Spring 2024 IssueWide-Angle Thermal LensThe 80° wide angle thermal lens offering from Teledyne FLIR is designed to enable the visualization of assets in a large target area, supporting continuous condition monitoring and early...Photonics Spectra May 2024 IssueReplicated Freeform MirrorsThe Newport™ Replicated Freefrom Mirrors from MKS Instruments are nonrotationally symmetric reflective mirrors for use in analytical instruments, imaging systems, laser tracking, and...Photonics Spectra June 2023 IssueOptical Design PlatformThe 3DOptix Warehouse from 3DOptix is a platform for sharing and downloading optical designs.
