TTP LabTech Ltd. has released its Mirrorball high-sensitivity laser scanning microplate cytometer for antibody discovery and fluorescence cellular screening applications. It offers simultaneous laser scanning, enabling good multiplexing and resulting in higher-throughput single-pass scanning, and it rapidly and reliably performs mix-and-read assays for hybridoma screening and cell-surface receptor expression. It also performs cell- and bead-based assays. Benefits include label-free detection, which results in improved object recognition and fewer false negatives based on individual object count. Proprietary low-loss optics and red 640-nm laser excitation result in minimal autofluorescence, which leads to a high signal-to-noise ratio and guarantees robust data generation.
