TTP LabTech Ltd. has unveiled its Mirrorball high-sensitivity laser scanning microplate cytometer for antibody discovery and fluorescence cellular screening applications. It offers simultaneous laser scanning, enabling good multiplexing and resulting in higher throughput single-pass scanning, and it rapidly and reliably performs mix-and-read assays for hybridoma screening and cell-surface receptor expression. It also performs cell- and bead-based assays. Benefits include label-free detection, which results in improved object recognition and fewer false negatives based on individual object count. The system also offers high automated sample processing and assay versatility, and enhanced detection sensitivity for low-abundance antigens such as cell surface proteins. It performs dual-laser excitation and provides multiple detection channels.
