NorPix Inc. has released its TroublePix200 high-speed 200-fps VGA-resolution troubleshooting system with a ruggedized laptop.

Providing the ability to record for more than 2 h in high-quality uncompressed video, the digital software features continuous looping, prepost triggering using USB trigger input, event markers and start/stop triggering. The user can configure the camera to run at 300 or 400 fps and can acquire, view and record video simultaneously.

Alternative solutions that operate from 200 to 2000 fps with resolutions up to 4k × 4k also are available.

The portable troubleshooting system is touch screen-compatible and supports a wide array of GigE, FireWireB and Camera Link cameras.

Options include one camera operating at 200 fps with 640 × 480-pixel resolution, 8 bits, monochrome or color; 250 fps at 640 × 405; 500 fps at 640 × 180; and 1000 fps at 640 × 75. The user can record for more than 125 min in uncompressed format and for more than 27 h at 75% jpeg compression ratio.
