Recom Power Inc. has developed a series of constant-current LED drivers with universal AC input, power factor correction and UL certification. The first two products in the LightLine RACD series are a 12- and a 20-W solution for the high-brightness LED lighting market. With an output of 350 or 700 mA, the modules are suitable for driving almost any LED system in the industry because they have a wide output voltage range over which the constant-current regulation works. They can be used with single LEDs or with strings of up to 16. With >70,000 h of operating life, the devices are suitable for commercial, residential and industrial lighting systems.
