WaveGauge from PhaseView is a turnkey solution based on digital wavefront sensing technology to meet demanding requirements for quality assurance, R&D and production environments. In comparison to conventional systems, it provides wavefront data on a superresolution 500 x 500 grid for real-time testing of lenses and delivers high speed at one lens per second and high accuracy of λ/20 rms. Intensity and high-resolution wavefront mapping with proprietary digital wavefront cameras allow the optics tester to carry out simultaneous surface quality visualization and aberration analysis of most complicated lenses with spherical, aspheric or toric shapes. Applications include wavefront aberration measurement, aspherics characterization, simple and multifocal intraocular lenses, contact lens and lens molds, and optics and objectives.
