An automated microscope for live-cell imaging has been released by Till Photonics. The state-of-the-art More is a multipurpose light microscopy platform with a real-time protocol engine that allows for high 3-D acquisition speed and optical sectioning with minimized photobleaching. The integrated design enables millisecond switching between different types of applications, such as Förster resonance energy transfer, fluorescence recovery after photobleaching, total internal reflection fluorescence, structured illumination at up to 10 fps and wide-field fluorescence. Features include fast motorized modules, voice coil technology and low temperature drift.
