Laser Operations LLC has announced the SUltra, a complete OEM
turnkey solution for medical laser therapy, forensics and direct illumination. The
system, based on QPC Lasers’ line of BrightLase and BrightLock fiber-coupled
modules, is available at wavelengths including 532, 980, 1064, 1470 and 1920 nm,
with optical powers of up to 50 W, continuous-wave or pulsed. The compact and portable
OEM solution measures 15 x 16.2 x 45 cm and comprises a fiber-coupled or collimated
laser module, a laser driver, a power supply, a thermal management system and controller
electronics in a single air-cooled package powered by a 100- to 240-VAC supply.
