The high-power 1908-nm fiber-coupled QPC Laser line modules manufactured by Laser Operations LLC offer high efficiency and good spectrum characteristics for pumping of solid-state and fiber lasers in spectroscopy, and in surgical and other medical applications. The devices provide continuous-wave power up to 40 W and on-chip Brightlock wavelength-stabilization technology. Their good spectral characteristics and high wall-plug efficiency target a specific laser crystal and water peak absorption to enable multiple applications from resonant pumping of Ho:YAG lasers and mid-IR generation to laser therapeutics. Based on InP material, the chips reach 25% peak efficiency at room temperature with a <2-nm linewidth and low-wavelength sensitivity to a temperature of 0.2 nm/°C. Operating current and operating voltage are <60 A and <11 V, respectively.
