Ibsen Photonics has launched the Rock VIS-NIR and XNIR (extended
NIR) line of modular, industrial-grade, robust OEM spectrometers for the 550- to
1050-nm and 1175- to 2185-nm-wavelength ranges, respectively. They deliver high
optical throughput because of an f number of 2.2 and the use of proprietary fused-silica
transmission gratings. The athermal Rock VIS-NIR can be supplied with almost any
detector type, enabling customers to choose a spectrometer configuration that best
meets their needs. The XNIR uses an InGaAs detector to provide high sensitivity
and a good signal-to-noise ratio. The VIS-NIR series comprises the RST-200 for a
large dynamic/absorbance range and the RST-300 for high sensitivity. Both have a
numerical aperture of 0.22.
