LONDON, May 6, 2011 — Midaz Lasers Ltd. has launched the Flair-20 infrared diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser, which produces 20 W and delivers a pulse repetition rate of up to 500 kHz. The good beam quality and linear polarization enable efficient conversion to green and ultraviolet wavelengths.

The laser's compact size and modular design, along with air-cooling, simplify systems integration.

Applications include high-speed laser marking and precision micromachining.
