Mad City Labs Inc. has introduced the Nano-F3D lens nanopositioning system designed to position an objective lens in three dimensions with subnanometer accuracy and repeatability. With a travel range of 100 μm in each axis, it is suitable for 4Pi microscopy as well as other fluorescence imaging and inspection applications. The system features integrated PicoQ sensors with closed-loop control, giving the user picometer precision and ultrahigh stability. It is designed to be mounted on microscopes and optical fixtures.
