KNOXVILLE, Tenn., May 25, 2011 — Digital Light Lab has introduced a portable UV LED illumination system intended for the low-cost UV-curing market as well as for spectroscopy and general fiber illumination applications.

The CompactCure offers an all-in-one design that contains a multiwatt high-power UV LED, internal optics, a driver, a dimming controller and active cooling, all in a compact enclosure. The system operates at several UV wavelengths, including 365, 385, 400 and 420 nm. There are various built-in optics for different UV patterns as well as optional adapters for fiber optics and liquid lightguides.

Other deep-UV (254, 280, 320 and 350 nm), visible and near-infrared wavelengths may be custom-ordered for OEM applications.
