MAINZ, Germany, June 16, 2011 — Dilas has developed a tailored mini-bar architecture for its line of high-brightness, fiber-coupled modules, which are capable of delivering 135 W of output from a 200-μm fiber at 976 nm.

The mini-bar was developed so that the optical parameter of the emission fits into the 200-µm fiber with the most simple, inexpensive optics. The modules are suitable for direct diode applications as well as for fiber and solid-state laser pumping.

Additional modules will soon be available with outputs of 200 and 500 W.
