DILAS Diode Laser Inc.TUCSON, Ariz., July 6, 2011 — Dilas Diode Laser Inc. has announced the expansion of its quasi-continuous-wave (QCW) high-power vertical diode laser stacked arrays. The new devices are available at 1940 nm, with power ranges up to 12-W QCW per bar and optional fast-axis collimation. The completely AuSn-soldered vertical stacks are designed for operation in high-temperature environments and for use as diode-pumped solid-state lasers and for defense applications that require quasi-continuous-wave lasers in the kilowatt power range.
