Request InfoApplied Optoelectronics Inc. (AOI)Applied Optoelectronics Inc. has released a 2-in. compliant universal substrate that is suitable for epitaxial growth of any III-V materials, regardless of lattice constant. A multilayer epitaxial structure allows the substrate to support an epitaxially grown film and adjust the lattice constant to that of the film. The company says that structures grown on this substrate perform better than those grown on mismatched lattice substrates because threading dislocations do not occur.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaWEBINARSPhotonics.com 7/22/2021STANDARDS UPDATE: Vision Standards: An Overview of Global and A3 DevelopmentsStandards play a key role in the vision and imaging industry by ensuring interoperability of components, increasing market size, and shortening the time it takes to get new products to market.
