Deimos DLC Coatings

PLYMOUTH, England, Aug. 5, 2011 — Artemis Optical Ltd. has launched its Deimos DLC (diamondlike carbon) line of coatings.
The coatings are fully compliant with all applicable environmental standards and salt fog-qualified to more than 90 days. They offer a wide range of substrate materials to choose from to ensure optimum system performance.
Maximum diameter is 420 mm, and the coatings are available in medium-wavelength and long-wavelength infrared versions.
Customers for the coatings include manufacturers of thermal imaging cameras and systems for use in building construction, environmental monitoring, electrical cable maintenance, military night vision and tumor detection.
