Edmund Optics Inc.Request Info
BARRINGTON, N.J., Sept. 2, 2011 — Edmund Optics has introduced a line of mid-wavelength infrared polarizers featuring high contrast ratios and transmittances. They are designed for a variety of applications operating in the 1.5- to 5-µm wavelength range, including telecommunications, IR spectroscopy, IR sensing and quantum cascade lasers.
Suitable for use in harsh environments, they are manufactured using a dichroic glass substrate, a durable soda lime material that renders them highly resistant to UV radiation and chemicals and also able to withstand operating temperatures of up to 120 °C.
The devices are available in 12.5- and 25-mm-diameter models. They are mounted for easy handling and simplified system integration, and they are in stock and available for immediate delivery.
