UV Transmission Gratings
Edmund Optics Inc.Request Info
Ultraviolet transmission gratings manufactured from a UV-grade fused silica substrate have been announced by Edmund Optics. UV transmission gratings are relatively polarization-insensitive and fairly impervious to alignment errors for ease of use and for providing good light dispersal in a variety of fixed-grating applications.
Intended for the 250- to 450-nm wavelength range, they are designed so that the incident light strikes the UV transmission gratings’ coarse groove spacing, where it is then dispersed to the opposite side of the grating at a fixed angle. As the groove spacing increases, the diffraction angle decreases.
The gratings are available in multiple diffraction angles. Models are offered with 300, 600, 830 and 1200 grooves per millimeter in sizes of 12.7, 25 and 50 mm sq.
They are in stock and available for immediate delivery.
