DILAS Diodenlaser GmbHMAINZ, Germany, Sept. 21, 2011 — Dilas now offers higher-power fiber-coupled multibar laser modules operating at 1940 nm. The high-brightness, high-power modules feature a compact footprint and deliver 30-W output through a 600-µm core diameter fiber with a low numerical aperture of 0.22 and wall-plug efficiency of >10%. The designs are based on industry-standard conductively cooled bars that are optically stacked and polarization-coupled. The modules require only industrial water for cooling. Custom wavelengths are available upon request. The fiber-coupled multibar modules are suitable for direct diode...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra March 2024 IssueLaser Power DetectorThe HP100A-50KW-GD from Gentec-EO is a laser power detector designed for high-power laser and laser system manufacturers, factories that cut thick metal parts with high-power lasers, and military...Photonics Spectra January 2023 IssueLaser ScannerThe Focus Core Laser Scanner from FARO® Technologies Inc. is designed for 3D capture in the construction, building operations, and public safety markets.
