The first suite of test and measurement equipment for quantum communications consists of a polarization analyzer (PA-1000), a correlated single-photon detection system (CPDS-1000), and associated software for automating the measurements required for quantum state reconstruction. Features include CPDS with up to four single-photon detectors counting at 50 MHz; <2 s measurement time for quantum state reconstruction; and compatibility with NuCrypt's fiber-coupled entangled-photon source.
