Photron USA Inc.’s high-definition, high-speed Fastcam SA6 camera is suitable for use in automotive, military, broadcast, particle velocimetry and digital image correlation applications. It is available in 36-bit color and more light-sensitive 12-bit monochrome versions. It operates at up to 1500 fps with 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution from the 1920 x 1440 native resolution CMOS sensor. At reduced resolution, the camera can operate at 75,000 fps with a minimum global electronic shutter time of 2.7 µs (available independent of the frame rate selected). Both C- and F-lens mounts are provided with the large-format camera, which also is compatible with the Canon ES/EF series lenses and available with PL and B4 lens mounts. Memory sizes of 8, 16 and 32 GB are offered.
