LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Nov. 16, 2011 — For surgical and x-ray alignment applications on dark or pigmented skin, Power Technology Inc. offers its PNF series green wavelength spectrum lasers.

Green lasers are much more visible to the human eye against dark or pigmented skin than traditional red wavelength surgical lasers. The PNF green wavelength line-generator lasers are easier to identify under the bright light conditions of the operating room.

They deliver an output power of either 20 or 45 mW at a wavelength of 515 nm. Additional design features include uniform intensity (non-Gaussian) line generators, variable focus technology, high wavelength stability, high optical power stability, and continuous-wave or optional digital/analog modulation of >500 kHz.
