Dilas has launched a line of conduction-cooled, multibar line source modules with a homogeneous top-hat beam profile in the slow axis and a diffraction-limited profile in the fast axis. They output 600 W of power at 880 ±5 nm. They are based on the company’s beam shaping and homogenization expertise, which results in a 97.5 ±2.5% intensity profile in the slow axis. Nominal line dimensions are 10.5 mm x 325 µm. Customized focus geometries also can be offered. Designed for use in materials processing, the modules are suitable for solar, plastics welding, semiconductor processing and thermal annealing applications. Optional features include a power monitor and a user-exchangeable protection window. The modules are stable sources that achieve high optical efficiency.
