The FlexPoint MVmicro and FlexPoint MVpico series machine vision lasers manufactured by Laser Components GmbH are line lasers for image processing. The MVmicro models, developed for stand-alone applications, measure 19 mm in diameter and are 65 mm long. The MVpico devices, suited for integration into smart cameras, measure 10 mm in diameter and are 50 mm long. Both are available at different wavelengths and deliver output power from a few milliwatts up to 100 mW. Due to a special measurement process, the MVmicro and MVpico lasers are classified in a lower class, meaning that they are available with more power and still meet laser Class 2 or 2M specifications.
