LEXINGTON, Mass., Jan. 26, 2012 — Cambridge Technology Inc. has announced the Model 6250H galvanometer for large-aperture scanning applications.

This addition to the company’s 62xxH line of moving magnet galvanometers is optimized to provide maximum performance for 30- to 50-mm apertures. Based on the 62xxH actuator and position detector innovations, the device is suitable for applications such as remote welding, cutting, converting and photovoltaic processing, which require large apertures to achieve the desired small spot sizes.

When coupled with the company’s large-aperture mirrors, the 6250H provides high processing speeds.
