lWDMExfo Electro-Optical Engineering Inc. offers +13-dBm distributed feedback with its IQ-2400 WDM laser source module. The high-power module has a ±0.5-nm tuning range around its central wavelength, enabling testing of 100- and 50-GHz spacing systems. The central wavelengths of each source, which range from 1525 to 1565 nm, can be selected on the ITU-T grid. The source power level is suitable for testing WDM optical amplifiers with high power levels at the amplifier input port.
