Analytical Spectral Devices Inc. has introduced its FieldSpec Pro portable spectroradiometer. The instrument measures 13 x 4.5 x 16 in., weighs 16 lb and mounts on a backpack for transport. It offers spectral resolution of 3 nm at 700 nm and 10 nm at 1400 and 2100 nm, and it has a sampling interval of 1.4 nm from 350 to 1000 nm and 2 nm from 1000 to 2500 nm. The UV/VIS/NIR spectroradiometer meets airline carry-on regulations and is suitable for applications including remote sensing, precision agriculture, oceanography and environmental assessment.
