The newly designed Newport 818-ST2 and 818-ST2-UV series photodetectors are in sturdy, ergonomic aluminum housings. The UV detectors are in a clear anodized aluminum housing to minimize photocontamination of the detector surface. With the large 10 x 10-mm Si photodiode, these slim detectors are ideal for measurements in tight locations with busy setups and limited beam path view. It provides a built-in calibrated OD3 attenuator at the flick of a switch.
