OBERSULM, Germany, April 6, 2012 — IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH has released its new software package version 4.0, which supports the USB 3 uEye CP camera series.

A new streaming function allows transfer of compressed H.264 (mpeg4) and mjpeg streams for mobile data acquisition, surveillance and remote control of the camera. All settings to access this feature can easily be adjusted via uEye Cockpit.

Another new feature is the uEye programming interface for Microsoft .NET. This object-oriented programming interface is flexible and easy to use, and it allows platform-independent programming so that integrating inexpensive and efficient applications is as easy as adapting applications when requirements change.
