The Picard Industries Mini-Hexapod Platform offers a compact and precise method of six-axis motion control. These motions are in the X-, Y- and Z-directions, with rotation about those axes. Six linear actuators are placed in a triangular pattern to achieve a rigid, stable and precise platform for aligning and positioning optical components. With its dedicated drive electronics and Windows-based 6-D user interface, the control of the platform’s motions is simplified for ease of use.
