PD-LD Inc. offers 1310-nm optical emitter and receiver subassemblies for Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel. The transmitter subassembly is a multiple-quantum-well Fabry-Perot laser diode with either a three- or four-pin electrical connection. Single-mode fiber-coupled power from 0.1 to 0.4 mW is available. The receiver subassembly is a PIN-TIA composed of an InGaAs PIN photodiode with a GaAs transimpedance amplifier.
