Durachill Recirculating Chillers

NILES, Ill., Sept. 30, 2012 — Compact recirculating chillers that provide reliable heat removal for lasers and other precision laboratory equipment are available from PolyScience.

Maintaining process temperatures from 5 to 35 °C, the Durachill 1.5-horsepower chillers provide up to 6328 W of cooling at 20 °C ambient and are available with a built-in heater for use with equipment that must be brought up to elevated temperatures before operation. They are supplied with a variety of standard and optional features.

They offer reliability and ease of use. All models feature a microprocessor-based controller, digital temperature display, one-touch set point display and digital pressure/flow rate display. For optimal operational and process safety, the rugged devices also feature user-adjustable fluid temperature, pressure and flow rate alarms, and a high ambient temperature alarm. Also standard are user-adjustable high- and low-temperature limits to help prevent unauthorized set point changes, and built-in compressor and pump protection.

Options include remote temperature tracking capability, serial output, audible and visual alarms, deionized water-compatible wetted parts and a low liquid level indicator/alarm.
