Replicated mirrors provide significant cost and weight savings while delivering superior optical performance. Replicated mirrors can be provided as flat, spherical, toroidal, parabolic and other shapes. Substrate materials are typically glass, aluminum, ceramic, silicon carbide, beryllium or plastic. Exact duplication in accuracy and surface quality are achieved. Diffraction gratings and transmission gratings can also be replicated.
