O’FALLON, Mo., Nov. 18, 2012 — RPMC Lasers Inc. is offering the 1-mJ IR and 350-μJ 532-nm microchip lasers from Concepts Research Corp.

The lasers have repetition rates up to 30 Hz with pulse widths <1 ns and good beam quality with M2 ≤2. They are housed in the new SLIM package that measures 4.51 × 2.5 × 1.26 cm. With the included heat sink and fan, the package measures 6.58 × 3.5 × 2.91 cm.

RPMC Lasers also offers conventional microchip lasers housed in the traditional FP-2 package, which is smaller than the SLIM and suitable for applications with tight size restrictions.

Typical applications for the microchip lasers are seed sources for amplified laser systems, light detection and ranging, marking, scribing, fluorescence measurement, ranging, biomedical and micro laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy.
