PROVIDENCE, R.I., Dec. 5, 2012 — A full line of CO2 laser mirrors that are optimized for use in high- and low-power lasers is available from Laser Research Optics.

The mirrors are offered in ¾- to 3-in.-diameter sizes, from 2 to 10 mm thick, with +0.000 /−0.005-in. tolerances, and they meet ISO-10110 and OEM specifications. Optimized for 10.6 µm at a 45° area of interest, they are made from silicon with an enhanced silver DMBR coating to provide up to 99.6% reflectivity.

Suitable for OEMs and as field replacements for end users, the laser mirrors exhibit <2% absorption and scatter losses. Total and partial phase shifting reflectors are also available.
