Hyperspectral Raman System

MONTREAL, March 27, 2013 — Rima, Photon etc.’s hyperspectral imaging system, generates Raman megapixel images in minutes, ensuring sample integrity with low illumination power density.

Based on a proprietary tunable filter, the system can obtain a wide-field Raman image of a structured Si/Ti wafer with 100,000 spectra in <1 min.

Rima features filtering efficiency up to 80% (unpolarized) and provides high spectral and spatial resolution for the most demanding applications.

The system provides access to high-precision maps of molecular vibrations for various samples or probes. It can be continuously tuned over a 5000-cm–1 window with a spectral resolution as good as 4 cm–1, giving access to both Stokes and anti-Stokes transitions.

The systems are available with a wide range of cameras, microscopes and lasers, and with PHySpec, the company’s control and analysis software.
