MINNEAPOLIS, April 8, 2013 — Microtrace LLC has released a 193-nm tabletop excimer laser for micromarking, micromachining and microdrilling.

The modified laser system is suitable for a variety of substrates, including diamond, ceramic, glass, composites, polymers and metals. It can also inscribe microscopic serial numbers, logos and bar codes.
