Phase One Industrial’s iXA 160 Achromatic camera system comprises a 60-megapixel black-and-white sensor optimized for aerial photogrammetric applications. The camera offers high sensitivity to visible light, including UV and IR ranges, and a base ISO of 200, enabling ISO sensitivity of 200 to 3200.

It delivers full resolution of 0.8 fps and provides suitable visibility when used in a single-camera configuration; in a dual-camera configuration, in conjunction with a color filter array sensor used in the iXA 160 and 180, the 160 captures NIR images that can be combined with RGB images to create co-registered four-band (red, green, blue and near-infrared) images.

All iXA aerial cameras are optimized for synchronized captures within 100 μs of each other, minimizing the need for postproduction corrections. They incorporate 6061 aluminum alloy housing and offer a wide selection of Schneider-Kreuznach lenses with central embedded shutters in focal lengths of 28, 55, 80, 110, 150 and 240 mm as well as Phase One’s range of digital lenses.

The cameras are supported by the company’s SDK software, which provides full control over the entire capture sequence, and are available with either an IR cutoff filter or with clear glass.
