tRADIOThe Spectroline DSE-2000A radiometer/photometer from Spectronics Corp. measures visible and long-wave-UV light and is suitable for nondestructive testing and quality control inspections. Its sensors have a silicon photodiode sealed in a metal and quartz package that is both shock- and humidity-resistant. The DSE-2000A measures visible light in footcandles and UV light in microwatts per square centimeter; a version that measures UV light in lux also is available. The device has accuracy better than ±5% traceable to NIST over its measurement range.
