Request InfoNewport - Oriel InstrumentsSTRATFORD, Conn., May 22, 2013 — Oriel Instruments, a Newport Corp. brand, has introduced the LCS-100 series solar simulators for photovoltaic cell research requiring a certified system for small illumination areas. The 38 × 38-mm simulators meet Class ABB as defined by ASTM, IEC and JIS standards. All electronics are built into the lamp housing and are factory preset to run the 100-W xenon lamp with integrated reflector at the proper current and voltage. For replacement assemblies, a “drop in” design eliminates the need for lamp alignment. An integrated attenuator allows partial sun irradiance.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPromoted Content April 2023 IssueOriel® Sol3A™ Solar SimulatorsOriel® Sol3A™ solar simulators use a single lamp design to meet Class A requirements for not one or two, but all three performance criteria without compromising their 1 SUN output power....Promoted Content February 2024 IssueFiber Optic De-SpecklerNewport™ fiber optic de-specklers maximize performance and reliability in illumination by eliminating modal interferences for cw to modulation up to 10 kHz, with no optical loss.
