Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products Group, a business unit of Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., has introduced the IK-WB81A IP high-definition bullet camera for outdoor video surveillance.
It delivers 1920 × 1080-pixel resolution at 30 fps and offers a long-range single-reflex LED IR system with a vertical viewing angle of 21° to 53°, a horizontal viewing angle of 37° to 96° and a viewing range of 30 m.
Its illuminators feature split glass technology that prevents LED light from reflecting back into the lens, avoiding the washed-out “halo” effect often seen on nighttime images, especially when the lens glass is dirty or wet. The device features day/night imaging with IR cut filter and wide dynamic range.
It is suitable for applications where light conditions change throughout the day and where extra illumination is required at night; the company says that it has a wider field of view at night than standard bullet cameras.
It comes standard with cable management, remote Varifocal 3.7- to 9-mm zoom lens and remote autofocus.
