A3500sc/A6500sc Thermal Imaging Cameras

MEER, Belgium, June 17, 2013 — Flir Systems has released the A3500sc and A6500sc thermal imaging camera series for industrial R&D applications including tire and brake testing, on and through glass measurements, welding and soldering processes, and fast-moving process control.

The cameras incorporate a cooled 3- to 5-µm midwave-IR detector for improved sensitivity, and a higher frame rate routine and thermal sensitivity of <25 mK. Their synchronization and triggering capabilities enable high-speed, high-sensitivity applications. Operating in Snapshot mode, they simultaneously register all pixels from a thermal event while monitoring fast-moving objects.

The series is compatible with proprietary ResearchIR and ResearchIR Max software, offering intuitive viewing, recording and advanced processing of IR data provided by the camera.

A standard GigE Vision interface transmits commands and full dynamic range digital video.
