Opto-Alignment Technology Inc.’s latest-generation Laser Alignment Station enables the alignment and inspection of lenses used in the UV, visible, mid-wave or long-wave IR without the need to change objectives.
During the assembly process, the noncontact dual-band system can detect a 0.2-μm centration error from the top surface and a 2-μm centration error from the bottom surface of any IR lens that transmits at a wavelength of 3.39 μm.
