Fiber Optic Transceivers

NORTHAMPTON, England, Aug. 5, 2013 — Harting Ltd. has released a range of fiber optic transceivers that integrate electro-optical converters in small form-factor (SFF) and small form-factor pluggable (SFP) packages with PushPull technology for industrial applications.

The devices can withstand harsh environmental conditions and vibration while offering simple handling and installation. They are based on overmolded PushPull cable assemblies with LC duplex mating faces, and offer IP 65/67 protection. The PushPull device side allows fiber optic devices to be added to existing solutions, such as I/O boxes, camera systems or industrial controllers; the transceiver module can be equipped with any SFF/SFP transceiver.

Customer-specific versions also are available.
