PlanarDL X-Y Linear Motor Stages

PITTSBURGH, Pa. Aug. 7, 2013 — Aerotech’s PlanarDL series integrated X-Y linear motor stages incorporate proprietary direct-drive motor technology and an integrated cable management system.

The PlanarDL-200XY and -300XY stages are available with one or two motors per axis, enabling optimization of each axis for specific applications and process parameters. High-precision anti-creep crossed-roller bearings provide smooth motion. 

The stages can achieve velocities to 1 m/s and accelerations to 1.5 g. They support accuracies and straightness values down to ±0.4 µm, flatness of ±1 µm and orthogonality down to 1 arcsec.

They are available in nine travel and performance configurations with three positioning performance options.
