WOODBRIDGE, Ontario, Canada, Aug. 29, 2013 — Netzer Precision Motion Sensors Ltd.’s rotary Electric Encoders, available from Electromate Industrial Sales Ltd., are suited for applications in defense, homeland security, aerospace and avionics, instrumentation motion control, medicine and automotives.

The noncontact encoders provide absolute position with a miniature- to wide-diameter hollow shaft. Available with analog sin/cos, and digital SSi and AqB+I outputs, they offer up to 20-bit resolution (with 12-bit analog/digital) and accuracy to <0.1°.

Other features include a <10-mm profile; absolute position output over a 360° rotation range; precision to 0.001° in select models; operation range from –55 to 125 °C; dual- and triple-redundancy options; high tolerance to condensation and contaminants; insensitivity to electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, and to magnetic fields; low power consumption; and ultrahigh-speed options.
