QUEBEC CITY, Sept. 17, 2013 — The FLS-2800 benchtop integrated tunable laser assembly, developed jointly with Coherent Solutions and available from Exfo Inc., is suitable for applications in coherent/orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing transmission and wavelength-division multiplexing network emulation.

The high-power CW unit offers narrow linewidth and high-resolution tunability. The device is available in single- or dual-laser configurations, with each laser being controlled independently. A front-panel knob allows quick wavelength and power adjustment.

USB and Ethernet ports allow users to remotely control the unit with the Exfo TLM application, while the TLM user interface displays laser controls and status.
