BOZEMAN, Mont., Oct. 1, 2013 — The WTCP5V5A thermoelectric temperature controller from Wavelength Electronics combines pulse-width-modulated control with improved temperature stability for portable, airborne and other space-constrained temperature-control applications.

It can operate from a single 5-V power supply, or together with the load can be driven from separate power supplies when lower-output current noise is required. The available WTCPEVAL circuit board can configure the device for a range of applications and load conditions.

The 5-A device features separate heating and cooling current limits to protect the load from operational anomalies, as well as external passive components to fine-tune the operating range for control sensitivity and accuracy.
