Micro-Optics Inc.'s 1xN polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber optic couplers are available in 1 x 2, 1 x 4 and 1 x 8 configurations. The couplers have >55-dB return loss, >20-dB extinction ratio and <1-dB excess loss. They are available in Panda, bow tie, oval clad and other fibers, and high-extinction-ratio PM fiber connectorization. Applications include PM signal multiplexing, PM-EDFAs, CATV transmission systems, sensors and instrumentation.
